Fedora 8 веќе се наоѓа на многуте серверски огледала ширум светот, а и ние имавме прилика да ја тестираме.

Новитети: нов изглед (изгледа прекрасно), апликација за инсталирање на кодеци, можност за онлајн GNOME интеграција, поддршка за Compiz и Compiz-Fusion, подобрувања на поле на безбедноста и стабилноста, најново јадро итн. Белешки за изданието.

ЗАБЕЛЕШКА: За корисниците на македонската локализација, има пропуст во инсталерот на Fedora (кој е пријавен уште од Fedora 7, но за жал не е поправен), па така кога инсталирате изберете англиски (или друг јазик кој го разбирате).

Moeto iskustvo so Fedora 8 KDE  e prilicno negativno.  Pri  instalacijata Anaconda ne gi prepozna Ubuntu i Xp instalaciite i napravi kompletna zbrka so boot sektorot, na kraj bev prinuden da napravam kompletna preinstalacija na sistemot . Spored statiite vo ubuntuforums izgleda deka ova e cest problem. SELinux isto taka ne dozvoluvase nekoi moi programi da rabotat bez negovo isklucuvanje ili brkanje vo skriptite. Ethernet kartickata bese ziva prikazna za sebe pri restartiranje na kompjuterot morase povtorno da se menuva vo enabled itn.  Mozebi problemot e vo KDE okolinata , na primer  KUBUNTU a daleku pomalku ispolirano od Ubuntu. Ili pak vo moeto neuskustvo.  No krajniot   rezult  e  deka ne bi mozel da ja preporacam Fedora 8 KDE,  poveke mi izgleda kako beta kvalitet. Slobodan
